This wind power generation project has an installed capacity of 9.0 MW. It consists of four wind turbine generators of 1.5 MW and five of 0.6 MW. The wind turbine generators are located in the villages Kudrekonda and Veerapura, District Davangere in Karnataka, and in the village Muggaon, District Beed in Maharashtra. The project is promoted by Gangadhar Narsingdas and Ferromar Shipping Private Limited from Goa, companies that are part of GNA group from Goa.

To continue its ongoing efforts of investment in clean renewable energy with encouragement and support from Certified Emission Reduction units revenues to make the project financially viable, the group has undertaken this 9 MW Wind Power Project. The project activity uses wind energy to generate electricity and supplies it to the grid. Since no greenhouse gases emissions are involved, the project activity produces clean energy.
