The project activity consists of setting up of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) of a total capacity of 4.95 MW (1.65 MW x 3 nos.) in Tamil Nadu by Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited, (hereafter referred as SRHHL).

The project is a 10 MW Biomass Power Plant of SEL Manufacturing Company Limited located in Ludhiana district of Punjab state in India . The project was setup to cater to the energy demand of the textile manufacturing facilities located in the same site.

Mangal Textile Mills (1) Pvt. Ltd (MTMPL) is an India's well-known textile manufacturing organization which implements the project. The eco-friendly project is located at the textile manufacturing unit at Vatva, GIDC, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The project generates electricity using hydro potential available in Cauvery River and exporting the generated electricity to the state-owned power utility company Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL).

The main objective of the project activity is to generate electrical energy through sustainable means using wind power resources and thereby contribute to climate change mitigation efforts. The electricity generated is supplied to the INDIAN grid.

The purpose of the project activity is to utilize renewable solar energy for generation of electricity.
