The Grid-Connected Solar PV Power Project in Bhagwanpura, located in the Javad tehsil of Neemach district, Madhya Pradesh, India a visionary initiative, implemented by Welspun Solar Madhya Pradesh Private Limited (WSMPPL), signifies a monumental step towards sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The project generates electricity using hydro potential available in Cauvery River and exporting the generated electricity to the state-owned power utility company Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL).

The bundled project activity comprises of two run-of-the river hydroelectric schemes with capacities of 5 MW each. The purpose of the project activity is to set up a natural gas based combined cycle power plant (CCPP) through a special purpose vehicle Bhander Power Limited (BPL).

Saradambika is a 10 MW Biomass Power Plant located in Chimur, India. The project conserves local resources, reduces pressure on the environment, and improves health conditions in the community. The emissions reductions of the project are estimated at 353,487 tonnes of CO2 eq. over the crediting period of 10 years.

The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity by using the renewable hydraulic resources to meet the ever-increasing demand for energy in the region.
