Large scale wind farm project "Melowind"

The Melowind wind farm, owned by Estrellada S.A., has a capacity of 50MW and consists of 20 Nordex N100 Wind Turbines of 2.5MW of power, a hub height of 80m and a rotor diameter of 100m. The project is located at Km 362 of national route 8, in the Arbolito area, about 40 km from the city of Melo, Cerro Largo, Uruguay.
