The Project is developed in a hydroelectric power plant located in Peru, in the North-western Department of Piura and has an installed capacity and projected yearly average generation of 15.2 MW and 57,740 MWh. The Project is expected to displace 31,463 tCO2e per year.

The purpose of the Poechos II hydroelectric power plant is to generate electricity, utilizing renewable energy sources to be supplied to the Peruvian National Inter-connected Electric Grid (SEIN).

Hidrocañete owns the Nuevo Imperial hydroelectric power plant with an installed capacity of 3.97 MW, designed to generate up to 33 GWh/year of clean energy. It is located at kilometer 12.5 of the Nuevo Imperial agricultural irrigation canal, which draws its water from the Cañete River (approximately 170 km south of Lima).…

The project resides in the industrial district of Bocaiúva, in the northern state of Minas Gerais, a region dedicated to metallurgy, mining, agriculture and reforestation. The project replaces fossil fuel by renewable biomass at one of the factories of Rima Industrial.

The Melowind wind farm, owned by Estrellada S.A., has a capacity of 50MW and consists of 20 Nordex N100 Wind Turbines of 2.5MW of power, a hub height of 80m and a rotor diameter of 100m. The project is located at Km 362 of national route 8, in the Arbolito area, about 40 km from the city of Melo, Cerro Largo, Uruguay.

Chacayes run of river hydro project is a 111 MW power plant located in the Cachapoal Valley of Chile. Operating since 2011, it has played an important role meeting country’s increasing demand of electricity, reducing CO2 emissions and contributing to the economic growth and sustainable development of local communities.
