Saradambika is a 10 MW Biomass Power Plant located in Chimur, India. The project conserves local resources, reduces pressure on the environment, and improves health conditions in the community. The emissions reductions of the project are estimated at 353,487 tonnes of CO2 eq. over the crediting period of 10 years.

The project generates electricity using hydro potential available in Cauvery River and exporting the generated electricity to the state-owned power utility company Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL).

The project activity comprises of setting up of two number of Wind Electricity Generators (WEGs) with an installed capacity of 4.2 MW (2 x2.1 MW) located in the village of Kurukkalpatti in the district of Tirunelveli.

The purpose of the project activity is to utilize renewable solar energy for generation of electricity. Tehsil in Jaisalmer District in the State of Rajasthan in Western India. The project activity is expected to supply 8,322 MWh of net electricity annually to the national grid of India (NEWNE).

The main purpose of the project activity is to generate electrical energy through sustainable means using wind power resources, to utilize the generated output for selling it to the state electricity utility and to contribute to climate change mitigation efforts.
