The Salkhit Wind Farm is the first grid connected wind farm in Mongolia. The project generates renewable electricity using wind power resources and supplies it to the Mongolian central electricity system grid to meet the growing electricity demand.

The purpose of the project activity is Hydro power generation on Balsio Nallah, a perennial tributary of Baira Nallah in the Ravi Basin by Ginni Global Pvt. Ltd. (GGPL).

The project activity consists of setting up of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) of a total capacity of 4.95 MW (1.65 MW x 3 nos.) in Tamil Nadu by Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited, (hereafter referred as SRHHL).

Tehsil in Jaisalmer District in the State of Rajasthan in Western India. The project activity is expected to supply 8,322 MWh of net electricity annually to the national grid of India (NEWNE).
