The project consists in a green field Small Scela Wind Project with a total installed capacity of 9.9 MW (6 x 1.65 MW) to generate clean energy. The project reduces approximately 21,806 tCO2/annum of GHG emissions.
Social well being:
Due to the installation of wind turbine generators in the rural area, various new employment opportunities are available for locals. These direct and indirect employment opportunities result in improved household income and quality of life of people.
Economic well being:
The development of wind farms resulted in development of the infrastructures in the region such as roads, electricity and communications. This leads to creating new economic opportunities and to the power generation capacity in India.
