Reason for cancellation

Retirement of 762 tonnes of behalf of Pentaco Construction Ltd. The units were sourced by Highland Carbon which has won the award for ‘Best UK Carbon Credit Supplier’ in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Each offsetting unit mitigates one tonne of carbon dioxide emission. These units are PAS2060 compliant and certified by the United Nations – Clean Development Mechanism. The Ba Thuoc 1 hydropower project has been developed by Hoang Anh Thanh Hoa Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company of Viet Nam. This ‘run-of-river’ hydropower project is situated in Thiet Ke commune, Ba Thuoc District, Thanh Hoa Province in the north-central region of Viet Nam.
