The project activity consists of setting up of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) of a total capacity of 4.95 MW (1.65 MW x 3 nos.) in Tamil Nadu by Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited, (hereafter referred as SRHHL).

The main objective of the project activity is to generate electrical energy through sustainable means using wind power resources and thereby contribute to climate change mitigation efforts. The electricity generated is supplied to the INDIAN grid.

The purpose of the project activity is to generate clean energy by utilizing the velocity of the wind for generation of electricity. The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity by using the wind energy for the sustainable growth of Rajasthan state by providing clean and green electricity to NEWNE grid.

The project activity comprises of setting up of two number of Wind Electricity Generators (WEGs) with an installed capacity of 4.2 MW (2 x2.1 MW) located in the village of Kurukkalpatti in the district of Tirunelveli.
