Experience the incredible impact of green energy with Xiaojin County Hanniuhe Hydropower Project is a run-of-the-river type hydropower project. The project is located in Xiaojin County of Sichuan Province. Xiaojin County Hanniuhe Hydropower Project is located in the economically disadvantaged Xiaojin County, Aba State in the Tibetan region of Sichuan Province, China, and this project is poised to redefine paradigms in the realm of eco-friendly energy solutions.
This project uses the power of the Hanniu River. The head pivot is located at Chengdu village, Wodi town, 200m downstream from the convergency of Hanniu River and Wodi Vally. Water will be diverted through pressure tunnel about 6.82km long at the right side into the powerhouse, revolving the two sets of hydroelectric turbines which in turn drive the generators. Green electricity is made using the water's power. The Project is a dam and diversion conduit type hydropower project with a total installed capacity of 60MW consisting of 2×30 MW units. The expected annual operating hours of the Project is 4,555 hours per annum with resulting expected annual electricity generation of 273,300 MWh per annum.. Come be a part of this exciting adventure, where nature and smart engineering create a brighter and more energetic future.
