With over 50 years of experience, Transport Corporation of India Limited is the largest integrated supply chain and logistics solutions provider in India. In 2003, the company entered the energy sector looking to promote non-conventional energy means. Currently, it holds 11.50 MW windmills in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity by using the renewable hydraulic resources to meet the ever-increasing demand for energy in the region.

The Project is developed in a hydroelectric power plant located in Peru, in the North-western Department of Piura and has an installed capacity and projected yearly average generation of 15.2 MW and 57,740 MWh. The Project is expected to displace 31,463 tCO2e per year.
